PWIA Comedy Workshop

Professional Women in Advocacy Comedy Workshop

When Women Use Comedy in Advocacy, Everyone Benefits

Professional Women in Advocacy is pleased to once again bring to the stage author, speaker, comedian and life coach Jen Coken. Jen, who authored the book “When I Die, Take My Panties,” will lead a two-hour workshop on how to infuse humor into your work. Whether it’s a speech, a pitch, a blog post or a tweet – humor works.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Writing jokes and bits
  • Disarming hecklers
  • Tackling tough subjects with humor
  • Overcoming jitters

Before coaching CEOs for the last 20 years, Jen worked as a campaign manager, ran for elected office, and performed as a stand-up comedian. This unique combination of skills and experiences makes her the perfect coach for advocates, candidates, leaders, and anyone looking to engage an audience or sell an idea using humor.

Tickets for this event are $25.  REGISTER HERE.
